Other Panama entertainment than the Carnival time, Panama has some fabulous restaurants at very affordable prices. A popular restaurant in Panama City is La Cascada. Here you have a 15-page menu, can get any kind of drink you like, and a steak and shrimp special for less than $10. When you first walk into this restaurant, it does not look like a fancy place but it has a different sort of appeal. La Cascada means waterfall in Spanish and they have one right in the middle of the main entrance area. The plates are piled high with seafood like you would not believe. Hungry, You will not leave.

The Panama City nightlife is among the most popular in Central America. There are many nightclubs and discos but the most popular places are in the business district, Casco Viejo, and the Amador Causeway. The Panama Marriott also has a popular disco. It is best to stick to these areas where there are other tourists and it is best to go in a group.

Panama Entertainment - Going off the beaten path from the popular nightlife areas—especially alone—is not recommended. Also, stay in well-lit areas to stay safe. Like any large city, there are high-crime neighborhoods.
