It seems that the general easy-going tropical environment creates a "no worries" mentality among the people. If you are coming here to be entertained then you found the right place. If you get here around four days before Ash Wednesday, you will realize that you are in the middle of one of the most festive times in the country: Carnival Season. Panamanians live for Carnival Season. The entire city goes into hold while the partying goes on constantly for the four days. But the Carnival is not just celebrated in Panama City. It is also celebrated in some of the outlying towns in the interior the most famous being Las Tablas, Pennomene, and Los Santos. What is interesting about these celebrations are the water trucks that spray the people while playing varieties of Latin music. This allows the masses to cool off too.
